Independent Physiotherapists Consulting at Adelaide Paediatrics

Paediatric physiotherapists have expertise in anatomy and physiology, as well as an expert understanding of child development; they utilise this to assess and treat children with a variety of health conditions. Adelaide Paediatrics is pleased to offer physiotherapy for children through an excellent team of independent physiotherapists who work closely together to achieve the best possible outcomes for their clients.

Among other things, physiotherapy for children deals with gross motor skills and musculoskeletal problems in babies and toddlers. Toddlers should be walking by approximately 18 months of age. If your toddler is getting close to 18 months of age and not yet walking, it may be useful to arrange an assessment. You may also consider seeing a paediatric physiotherapist if you are concerned about the way your child moves, walks or runs.

A doctor’s referral is not required to see a physiotherapist.
