Christine graduated with Honours from Flinders University in 1998 and then undertook both Paediatric Clinical Immunology and General Paediatric specialist training through the Women’s & Children’s Hospital and Flinders Medical Centre, successfully completing her specialist qualifications in 2007. Since then, she has held a specialist appointment at Flinders Medical Centre, where she now heads up the Allergy & Clinical Immunology Service. Christine is delighted to have also joined the team at Adelaide Paediatrics since 2021.

Christine is a longstanding passionate patient and trainee advocate and mentor. She has held both formal and informal advocacy roles and has worked hard to grow public and private Allergy & Clinical Immunology services and to expand specialist training opportunities in South Australia. She is currently actively lobbying to address the recent surge in demand and renewed shortage of specialists across both public and private services.

In her clinical work, Christine strives to provide rapid access and highest quality care to patients with serious or complex allergic and immunologic conditions and to sensitively support families and find solutions, so that these health issues no longer dominate.

Christine loves spending time with her two teenaged children, two big puppies and two cats, and is very close with her big extended family and beautiful circle of friends. She enjoys playing piano and loves the outdoors – gardening, nature and beach walks, and playing tennis.
