Chad is an internationally trained consultant neonatologist with expertise and experience caring for small and sick newborns and infants. He has worked in big maternity services at The Mercy in Melbourne and at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide, including 10 years as Medical Unit Head. Chad consults in his private practice at Adelaide Paediatrics Calvary North Adelaide and Elizabeth Vale locations.

Chad teaches undergraduate medical and nursing students and postgraduate medical practitioners in Paediatrics and Neonatal Medicine. Further, he has published research articles in a number of areas including lung mechanics, transfusion medicine and oxygen targeting. Vanessa is a General Paediatrician who has been working in paediatric medicine since 2003. Bron is a Neonatal Paediatrician who relocated to Adelaide in 2020 after working as a consultant Neonatologist at Mercy Hospital, one of the largest perinatal centres in Melbourne, looking after extremely premature and sick newborns.

After graduating from the University of Birmingham, he completed specialist training in Paediatrics and then Neonatology at Norwich, Cambridge, and London. During this time he also received his Masters in Paediatric Infectious Diseases from Oxford University. Bron holds Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health

In addition to his private practice at Adelaide Paediatrics Ashford location, Bron also works as a Paediatric Retrieval Consultant with MedSTAR providing life-saving treatment for critically sick children and babies all over South Australia; transporting them safely to specialist centres. He also has several teaching and education roles. Bron is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Adelaide, teaching medical students in the management of acutely unwell children and babies, and also leads and organises Paediatric and Neonatal teaching for doctors, nurses, and paramedics all over rural South Australia.

Following on, the family relocated to Adelaide and Subashni commenced work at Flinders Medical Centre, where she contributed her knowledge to the acute medicine ward service, outpatient department, and child protection service. Subashni was admitted to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Paediatrics) in 2024.

Sonali is a Consultant General Paediatrician who has been working in Paediatric Medicine since 2001. She completed a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery through the University of Adelaide in 1999. Her Paediatric training was undertaken through the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre, The Lyell McEwin Health Service, Modbury Hospital and Port Augusta Hospital. She was admitted to Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2010 and since that time she has been working as a Consultant Paediatrician at Flinders Medical Centre and a Lecturer in Paediatrics at Flinders University in the School of Medicine.

Sonali consults in her private practice at Adelaide Paediatrics Kensington Park and is comfortable taking on the care of any child or adolescent up to 18 years of age. She is very experienced in all aspects of General Paediatrics and has particular interests in respiratory medicine, behavioural concerns, feeding difficulties, paediatric allergy conditions and haematological conditions. In addition, as a result of her work at Flinders Medical Centre, she has extensive experience in acute care Paediatrics. She has a passion for teaching and has devoted much of her time to training medical students and junior doctors.

Sonali is the mother of 2 beautiful children. As a mother she understands the importance of the family unit in the long term care of children and adolescents with medical and behavioural issues and is committed to supporting children and their families in order to help them reach their full potential. Chantal is a General Paediatrician with a background in neurodevelopmental and behavioural paediatrics and has extensive experience working with children and young people with complex presentations including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, anxiety and depression, learning difficulties and nutritional issues. She also enjoys providing care for neonates, as well as general health concerns from birth to 18 years of age.

Chantal has lived in a variety of places throughout Australia, as well as overseas in Papua New Guinea and England. After finishing high school in Adelaide, she completed a Bachelor of Science / Bachelor of Laws degree at the University of Queensland in 2003. She worked as a lawyer for several years in Brisbane before studying medicine, and graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery degree in 2009.

Chantal completed her paediatric training in Melbourne, working at the Royal Children’s Hospital, as well as across a number of metropolitan and regional health services throughout Victoria. She has obtained dual Fellowship to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in General Paediatrics and Community Child Health.

When not working, Chantal enjoys spending time at the beach with her family, where she can chase after her toddler and two curly cavoodles.

Mandy graduated from University of Adelaide in South Australia. Her subsequent paediatric training was at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Flinders Medical Centre. She gained her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Paediatrics) in 2011. She was born in Hong Kong and can speak fluent Cantonese.

Mandy is experienced in general paediatric medicine and has a specific interest in eating disorders, namely; Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia and ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder). Mandy consults in her private practice at Adelaide Paediatrics Wayville rooms and works closely with psychiatrists and psychologists to manage the challenges that families face with a child who has an eating disorder. She is also the leading clinician for the Flinders Medical Centre Eating Disorder Team for medical assessment and management. Families dealing with these difficult situations appreciate Mandy’s calm manner and expertise in managing their adolescents.
