Our mission has always been ‘Helping Children and Families Thrive’. 12+ years on, and this continues to be woven throughout the fabric of each and every day at Adelaide Paediatrics. We have a longing to make expert Paediatric Healthcare local and accessible to all areas of need in South Australia. Borne out of a desire to be part of the solution by meeting the huge sea of need in our community amongst children, adolescents and their families, with experienced teams of committed medical and allied health professionals working collaboratively to provide the best comprehensive healthcare for patients.

Adelaide Paediatrics comprises an elite private multidisciplinary team of independent medical and allied health professionals providing easily accessible much-needed medical and therapy support for children across the city and suburbs of Adelaide and beyond. Our passionate and dedicated team of practitioners offers assessment, support and therapy for children with medical or developmental needs.

Our focus is trained on the most important thing; every single interaction taking place before us with a child and their family, providing compassionate and professional support so they can achieve their full potential in their physical and mental health and functioning. Impact on a community occurs one child at a time, by optimising every child's growth and development wherever possible.

    There is potential to work across multiple locations, as well as the opportunity to see neonates should you wish.

    The positions will work closely with the extended Medical Team and Allied Health professionals providing collaborative treatment to patients, ensuring all are given the highest quality of care using Best Practice Principles. 

    The positions will be engaged as independent contractors on a Services & Facilities Agreement basis.

    We are seeking Social Workers with a desire to enjoy the flexibility offered through consulting in private practice (full time or part time) with:

    Significant experience working with children and families;
    Demonstrated skills and experience in the provision of evidence-based therapy;
    Demonstrated expertise in positive behaviour support and behaviour modification;
    Appropriate knowledge and experience in child development and disability, particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder;
    Experience supporting NDIS participants desirable.

    Essential Criteria
    Tertiary qualification in social work with eligibility for AASW membership;
    Eligibility to register for a Medicare provider number if necessary;

    The positions will be engaged as independent contractors on a Services & Facilities Agreement basis.

    Minimum Selection Criteria
    We are seeking OT’s (full time or part time) with:

    Eligibility to register for a Medicare provider number;
    Demonstrated skills and experience or the willingness to embrace a broad scope of practice areas within paediatric Occupational Therapy;
    Current OT registration through AHPRA;
    Current DHS Working with Children Clearance;
    Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN-EC) Training;
    ABN/ the ability to register for ABN.

    In addition, we are seeking the following preferred criteria:

    Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder; ADHD, developmental delay, Sensory Processing Disorder;
    Experience working in the domain of private practice;
    Experience maintaining a varied and complex caseload of children aged 0-18 years;

The roles will suit experienced speech pathologists with a desire to enjoy the flexibility offered through consulting in private practice. You’ll be independent, highly organised, versatile, self-directed in your learning, and have excellent communication skills. You build rapport easily with children, adolescents, and adults alike.

    We are seeking experienced Speech Pathologists to provide clinic-based assessment and therapy for children.

    There is potential to work across multiple locations, as well as the opportunity to provide off-site visits should you wish.

    The positions will be engaged as independent contractors on a Services & Facilities Agreement basis.

    Minimum Selection Criteria
    We are seeking experienced Speech Pathologists (full time or part time) with:

    Experience working as a paediatric Speech Pathologist;
    Demonstrated skills and experience across a broad scope of practice areas within Speech Pathology;
    Theoretical and practical understanding of evidence-based practice;
    CPSP status with Speech Pathology Australia;
    Experience supporting NDIS participants desirable;
    Eligibility to register for a Medicare provider number;
    Working with Children/Vulnerable People clearance;
    Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN-EC) Training;
    ABN/ ability to register for ABN.

    In addition, we are seeking the following preferred criteria:

    Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder;
    Experience working in the domain of private practice;
    Experience maintaining a varied and complex caseload of children aged 0-18 years;
    Accredited ASD diagnostician or desire to become accredited.
